Instrument Sharpening Competency- X4005
This competency should be completed as part of the Periodontal Lab experience. Scheduling of this competency will be coordinated through the Periodontics Department.
The competency consists of the independent demonstration of proper sharpening technique of 5 different periodontal instruments (chosen by the faculty who is administering the competency).
The X-code should be completed/approved on your simulated axiUm patient at the time of the competency.
